Brownies Marine has just announced they will sponsor the first Annual Chris Massey Memorial Tournament. The tournament will be held on Lake Monroe June 26, 201 and proceeds for the tournament will go to USA Bassin’s Next Generation Adult/Youth Tournament series. The Massey’s have owned the dealership since 1958 and is now into the fourth generation as a family owned business. In 2007 the Massey family lost Chris Massey and in memory of Chris the tournament is named in his honor. Marc Massey brother to Chris said they both enjoyed fishing when they could. However, to service the boaters in Indiana much of there time was spent working the dealership that is now Indiana’s largest volume boat dealer.

The Chris Massey Memorial Open Team Bass Tournament is also sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, Tracker Boats and Nitro Boats. The tournament will run from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm out of the Cutright launch ramp on Lake Monroe. Entry fee is $100 per team with an additional $10 if you desire to enter the optional Big Bass Pot.   Eighty percent payback to the winning positions.

The Next Generation is a not-for-profit public charity, devoted to providing educational opportunities that help young people prepare for a brighter future in the form of scholarships. 100% of the proceeds from this tournament will be escrowed to the USA Bassin Next Generation Scholarship Fund. Please mail all entry forms and make all checks payable to Ricky Ingram 110 Hall Court Greenwood, Indiana 46143.   Ricky will be also be available for questions regarding the tournament at 317-534-7545 or fish63deer@aol.com.
