Castaway Manufacturing, Inc. of Montgomery, Texas has been licensed by Aqua Design of Melba, Idaho to use their patented, truly innovative, real water pattern camo designs on Castaway’s fishing rods. Castaway Rods has made some major changes to their line of fishing rods with Camo fishing rods. The real water pattern camo design of rod by Castaway is the third now offered in their camo line of rods.

 

Aqua Design originated in 1995 when the inventor applied actual water photography to their premium sport fishing apparel line. New Advanced technology now allows the actual water pictures to be coated on the rod without adding any significant weight or changing the action. This is not just a decorative camo; it is true WATER CAMO that hides the rod from the fish. Special invisible thread wrap and matte finish SIC guides work with the camo to make the rod blend with the background, so the angler can get close to really smart, big fish.

 

As fisherman we all ask the question why? Castaway refers to the time when you were a kid and being told to be quiet, so you don’t scare the fish. Camo is the visual equal to being quiet.
