The Kansas State Regional was held on La Cygne Reservoir and featured a guaranteed first place prize of $1,000. Looking at the results will show that Randy Collings Jr. and Randy Collings Sr. won the event, but it was just the eldest of the team fishing that day. "My son wasn't able to make it, so I fished it by myself. He's usually the one who catches all of the fish," he said. Collings, Sr. was able to land four bass for 10.94 to win the event. "It was a tough day, I caught one early and then the others were scattered until right at the end of the day. I fished shallow with soft-plastics," he added. Top 5 Results
