Latest News Backwater Lake Cumberland Regional Monday, November 18, 2019 The Backwater Lake Cumberland Regional was sponsored by Backwater Outfitters and the City of Somerset and featured a $5,000 guaranteed first-place prize. There was also an additional drawing of $1,000 Somerset Bonus Cash if that team stayed two nights in a hotel located in Somerset, Kentucky. The winning team at this year's event was Tim Nicely and Mark Blanton who had a limit weighing 18.14lbs. Their bag included five quality smallmouth, including a 4.32lb fish. Nicely reported that the team caught 10-12 keepers throughout the day. "We mainly caught them on jigs and caught fish both shallow and deep," he said. "What can I say, we got lucky." Top 5
