Latest News Kansas State Regional Monday, September 20, 2021 The Kansas State Regional was held on LaCygne Lake out of the Linn County Park Marina Ramp on September 18th. 26 teams battled it out with Kolbee and Paul Mckee grabbing the win with a limit weighing 13.48lbs. They reported tough fishing with six total fish and just five keepers all day, but they were able to win the event by nearly three pounds. "We didn't catch our first keeper until 9:30 and then it was one bass every hour after that and we got our fifth keeper at 1:30," said Kolbee Mckee. The key was finding grass to fish and they rotated through various spots, never catching two fish in a single location. "It wasn't super shallow but we were sitting in three feet of water and pitching to the thickest grass we could find," he said and added that they caught all of their fish on big worms, green pumpkin with purple flake in a 12" size.
