Latest News Lake of the Ozarks Regional Wednesday, September 22, 2021 The Lake of the Ozarks Regional was a two day event held out of the Pa He Tsi ramp. The teams were gunning for the guaranteed first place prize of $1,500. Taking the win was the team of Robert Thompson and Gabe Mcdonald. They weighed 34.17 over the two days with 18.57 on the first day and 15.60 to back it up as they won by over 13 pounds. Each day, the estimated they landed a dozen keepers and switched it up for two different bites. "We threw topwaters in the morning on mainlake stuff and in the pockets and creeks," said Thompson. "Later in the day, the fish got into the brush and we threw Texas Rigs and jigs. The afternoon bite was the best once the sun came out and positioned the fish in the brush." The key, according to Thompson was to keep moving. "We hit a lot of spots and never stopped all day," he added. Top 5 Results
