There are a number of developed campgrounds that offer boat ramps and launching.

The Lake Barkley region offers a variety of attractions and activities for the whole family.

Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley has some of the best fishing in Western Kentucky making the Land Between the Lakes area one of the most popular fishing spots. In addition to these lakes, there are a number of smaller lakes in the area that are great for fishing. This region is a hotspot for sport fishing bass, bluegill, catfish, crappie, and sauger. Kentucky Lake itself has the Kentucky state record for white bass, Buffalo carp, and yellow perch.

This area is surrounded by campgrounds, resorts, lodges, and has plenty of interesting activities for the whole family. There are a number of developed campgrounds that offer boat ramps and launching in addition to a number of backcountry and primitive camping throughout the LBL area.
