Latest News Lake Barkley Regional Thursday, October 12, 2023 The Lake Barkley Regional was held on October 8th out of the Kuttwa Ramp and the team of Richie Meuth and Brian Carroll took the win with 17-pounds even. They were able to crack the code after a slow start to the day. "We caught a nice one right away on topwater and it was a grind after that," said Carroll who shared that they fished both Barkely and Kentucky Lake. "We ended up catching 7 or 8 keepers but had to work for them. Most of our fish came on shallow flats with wood and baitfish on either topwaters or soft plastics. We tried going out deep, but were never able to upgrade and only caught a few small ones." Included in their bag was a solid 4.94lb smallmouth. "It was pulling hard and came flying several feet of the water, but we landed it somehow," he said. Top 5 Results
