When there's a regional up north, you know it's all about the smallmouth bass! But what kind of weights are we dealing with here? Turns out, every team in this regional managed to hit their limit. Unfortunately, as always, there's only one top spot. This time, the winners were the husband-and-wife duo Brody and Amanda Kirkeb. They clinched the win with five stunning smallmouth bass weighing a total of 20.51 pounds. Right behind them in second place were Chad Schwan and Brander Hicks, who came in strong with 19.73 pounds. However, Schwan and Hicks scored the big fish of the event with a 4.59-pounder. According to the crew here at USA Bassin, Pickerel Lake, SD definitely lives up to the hype. It’s a spot worth checking out for sure. Congrats to all the teams who made it to the Bass Cat Classic this coming spring. See you out on the water!
