Latest News Old Hickory Summer Division TN21 Tuesday, October 08, 2024 The USA Bassin Old Hickory Summer Division has wrapped up, and it was quite a season! We had 68 teams in the points race, but only three managed to nail a perfect score by catching five fish at all five summer events. Any angler knows that’s no small feat, especially with all the seasonal changes from June to August. But, as always, only one team could come out on top! This year, it was Bobby Stroud and Freddie Brasher who took the crown with a total of 476 points, edging out Mickey Hazlett and Dustin Graves, who scored 468 points. Both teams snagged a win during the season, but the turning point came in the third event when Stroud and Brasher pushed ahead with a second-place finish. From there, they managed to stay ahead of Hazlett and Graves, ultimately claiming the top spot. As for the biggest catch of the season, that honor goes to Tommy and Nick Illobre with a whopping 5.26-pound bass, beating Adam Bruggenschmidt and Jarrod Hedrick’s second-largest at 5.14 pounds. Huge congrats to Bobby Stroud and Freddie Brasher for an awesome season and earning a spot in the Land Big Fish Tournament of Champions at Kentucky Lake—best of luck competing for that $10,000 prize!
