11-17-07 Twin Lakes Fall Division with Interviews

Here are the results of the KY-1 Twin Lakes Fall Division held on Nov. 17, 2007 at Barren River Lake. This was the second to last tournament for this division.  
 
CONDITIONS: Water temp. 57-58F
 
First Place: Team Parett/Sallee (5) fish limit of 13.82lbs.
Area/Depth fished: Pockets and River on the Main Lake in water 3’or less deep.
Lures Used: Chartreuse Spinnerbaits with #4 ½ double willow leaf blades.
Times caught: 9 am and between 1-4pm

Second Place: Team Gray/Waugh (5) fish limit of 12.14lbs.
Area/Depth fished: Mouth of creek in murky water 1-2’ deep around brush and stumps near bait fish.
Lures Used:  1/4oz Chartreuse Spinnerbaits with willow leaf blades, small white Wee R crankbaits and 1/4oz Black & Blue jigs.
Times caught: 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. No other fish caught after 1:30 in the afternoon.

Third Place: Team Mark Humphrey (4) fish total of 9.53lbs.
Area/Depth fished: Creeks and Main lake pockets in a depth of 1-2’
Lures Used: Crankbaits in shad color, Jigs in green pumpkin, and spinnerbaits in chart/white.
Times caught: Morning start until Noon.

Big Fish Honors: Team Brooks/Murphy received big fish honors with a 3.50lb largemouth bass.
Area/Depth fished: Skaggs creek at a depth of 6’
Lures Used:  3/4oz Red Rat-L-Trap (letting it hit the bottom and ripping it up motion)
Time caught: Noon
