Championship Week will start with the Tracker Cup and end with the Nitro Classic. New for this Championship Week is the Lucas Oil Tournament of Champions and the Uncle Sam Bass Challenge. Kentucky Lake is a fantastic venue for the USA BASSIN Championship Week and Marshall County Tourism has been a generous sponsor every year since its beginning.  Marshall County Tourism has put together an informative website packed full of great information to assist visitors to Marshall County and the Kentucky Lake area at www.kentuckylake.org. Kentucky Lake is a magnet for vacationers and fishermen from a wide area of mid-America, with recreation use amounting to some 17 million visits each year. Along its nearly 2400 miles of cove-studded shoreline are many boat docks and resorts, 4 state parks, the Tennessee National Wildlife refuge, 48 public access areas, 2 county parks, 5 municipal parks, 2 state wildlife management areas, 10 group camps and clubs, 92 commercial recreation areas, and 3 small wildlife areas. Bass fishing has been one of the hottest commodities on the water for years now at Kentucky Lake.  The Department of Natural Resources of Kentucky has done an outstanding job managing the lake with restocking programs. The lake each year produced a large number of 4-7 pound largemouth bass with scattered trophy size fish that combos with five pound smallmouth by the numbers.
