Welcome to DURHAMS TACKLE I would like to tell you a little about myself and my mission. FRIENDS HELPING FRIENDS..... ANGLERS HELPING ANGLERS My goals are pretty simple: I want to fish successfully as much as possible and I want to help other anglers, whether amateur or professional, to do the same. The more I can keep our costs down (yours and mine) the more time we can spend on the lake. With that in mind, my commitment to my friends (Some may call you customers) is to provide you with quality products at affordable prices. In addition to my regular job. I have been a tournament bass angler for over twenty years. I have had a few successes, and a few struggles along the way...but the bottom line is that "I love to fish". In an effort to reduce my expenses and find winning combinations of lure components I started experimenting, building and fishing with my own lures. In the beginning I would give some to friends and fellow tournament fishermen to try out. With the feedback I received and the successes along the way I learned a lot about what worked and what didn't. I have been making and selling custom hand made lures for the last 15 years. My marketing strategy may be a little different when it comes to my lures. I have consistently strived to build quality lures that catch fish. Therefore my target demographic is the fish, not the angler. There are a lot of tackle manufacturers out there that are more interested in catching the angler not the fish. The truth is when the lure is in the water, the fish doesn't care how fancy the packaging is. I build my lures with one goal. TO CATCH FISH! In addition to my own brand of lures, I will continue to search for, test and offer products that I feel are of the quality I expect and the value you expect. In the future I hope to expand my product line so I can be your one stop tackle store. I will provide you with an objective description of the products that I offer and I will not sell a product that I don't believe in. Friends don't do that to each other, You can buy from a big corporate box store, or you can buy from you neighborhood bait and tackle shop. Or you can buy from Durhams Tackle Store.
