Bethel University Scholarship Award

Each year Bethel University and USA Bassin team up to select a scholarship winner to attend Bethel and fish for their bass fishing team. This year the winner is Chanler Fleetwood of Brownstown, Indiana.

He fishes for the Brownstown Central High School bass team and recently competed in the High School World Finals in Alabama. In addition, he fishes a variety of divisions of USA Bassin with his dad Mason. They have been fishing several years together and Mason is proud of his sons accomplishments in fishing. "One of his main priorities was finding a good college that has a fishing team," he said.

Chanler added that he has been thinking of college fishing since it started to become popular. "It's really a big deal now and I am really grateful to receive this scholarship. Bethel University is known as one of the best and most prestigious colleges for fishing," he said.
