Latest News Next Generation Classic Winners Wednesday, July 06, 2016 The Next Generation Classic was held on out of Barkley Marina State Park, but the winning team fished adjacent Kentucky Lake. They made very long runs each day and had just four hours of fishing time each day. Their winning weight of 43.53 was more than enough to take the win. The father and son duo has been fishing USA Bassin for years throughout Ohio. Cole now attends Bethel University and fishes for the team, but they had qualified during last season in the OH-03 Paint Creek Division. The fact that Cole is attending Bethel turned out to be a big advantage for the Floyds as the school is close to Kentucky Lake near Paris, TN. "Cole had found 5-10 really good schools on that end of the lake and that is where we ran. We ran 80-90 miles each way both days to get to the fish," said the elder Floyd. They targeted ledges and used Strike King 8XD crankbaits and Ignite Baits Swimbaits on 3/4oz jigheads to take the win. They reported catching 20-25 keepers each day even with the limited fishing time. Congrats! Top Ten Results
