The Carroll County Open is part of the Lucas Oil Big Money open tournament series and offered a guaranteed first place prize of $2,500. This event was held on May 21st on the Ohio River out of the Carrollton Ramp. The Ohio River is known for tough fishing and it was the case at this event, but the team of Chuck Judd and Scott Schuler figured out the puzzle to take the win.

Judd says the team focused on a creek on the Indiana side and were able to catch the majority of their bass early to get the day started off right. "We had four fish by around 8:30 fishing shallow. We filled out our limit a few hours laters and culled again in the afternoon," he said. The team caught both largemouth and spotted bass and had a limit totaling 6.80lbs and were the only team to weigh in more than two fish during the event.

Congrats to the top teams and thanks to everyone who fished the Carroll County Open.
