Latest News Big Bass Bonanza Winner Tuesday, June 06, 2017 The Big Bass Bonanza on Kentucky Lake featured a guaranteed first place prize of $10,000. The tournament allows anglers to weigh their fish in different hour slots to vie for the prize for that two-hour block as well as for the overall win. William Heady won it all with a 6.72lb bass he caught just 18-minutes after he started fishing in the morning. "I had about a 20-minute run down to where I was fishing around Paris, TN and caught several right away once I started fishing. I had found a big school and was happy that even with the Triton Owner's Tournament, with so many boats fishing the fish were still there," he said. He caught multiple fish in the first minutes of fishing his spot, including a few five-pound fish. The big one came by fishing a large spoon, a Nichol's Magnum Flutter Spoon. He weighed in the big one during the first hour and it ended up holding as the biggest bass caught during the event. Congrats William! To view all of the hourly winners, click here.
