Maranacook was stingy too!

____________________________________________________________________
I was shocked not having a winning bag over 20 lbs. on Maranacook, we all know the big ones are there to be caught. We had 17 teams come fish with us, and some found em better then others, but overall was a great day!
1st place was Charles Towns and Denis Carrier with 17.31 lbs. This was 2 in a row for Charles, well done!!!
2nd was Ryan Fritshe and Jonathon Jennings, who had 16.75 lbs. Back to back 2nd place finishes for these guys, something tells me they are due for a win. J
3rd place was the great father/daughter team of Scott and Marissa Kinney, who had 16.19 lbs. Scott said Marissa broke of a huge fish not far from the boat, you’ll get em next time Marissa!
LM Lunker was 5.75 lbs., brought in by Jeff and Wally Ring.
Lawrence Torrey had the SM Lunker, a 2.75 lb. beauty!
Finishing 6th and winning the gallon of oil provided by Advance Auto parts was Scott and Steve Harris.

Androscoggin didn give up the big bags it can produce, but even with all my troubles, it still turned out to be a good day. :)
First was Charles Towns with 20.00 lbs.
2nd was Ryan Fritsche and Jonathon Jennings with 17.10 lbs
3rd place was Darryl Fitzgerald with 16.50 lbs.
7th and 9th Place won a gallon of oil provided by Advance Auto Parts. Winners were Clayton Grimm and Dave Cousins. Dave has a 4 stroke, so he gave the oil back to be used at a future event, Thanks Dave!!!

Please welcome Advance Auto Parts as a new sponsor of the Dags Bait and Tackle Division.

We started off the Fall Division on East Pond with 13 boats. Considering it was a holiday weekend and raining right up to take off time, it wasn’t a bad turnout. All 13 boats brought a limit to the scales and Big Bass was as close as I’ve ever seen it. 5 teams had a fish weighing 4.1 – 4.3 lbs. 1st and 2nd place had a 4.3 lb’er, so the tie was broke with the heaviest bag.

Jeff Hunter brought his son Parker, who was celebrating his 7th birthday, to his first ever tourney as a birthday present. They did great, finishing 5th with 15 lbs. Awesome job Jeff and Parker, it was a pleasure to have you fishing with us.

First place was Clayton Grimm with 18.80 lbs., he also took home Big Fish $$ with a 4.3 lb’er.
2nd place, with 18.20 lbs, was Zach Fletcher and Nick Mosher who also had a 4.30 lb. big fish!
3rd place was our favorite father/daughter team of Scott and Marissa Kinney with 17.10 lbs. They are the defending division champs and are off to a good start at repeating as division champs!

Thanks to everyone for coming out to fish with us and for your help and patience at the weigh in. We had a minor issue with the scales and I was relieved when we fixed that, a lesson learned for sure. I’d like to thank Darrell Wentworth for helping weigh fish, it’s a huge help as I can’t do it alone.
Hope to see ya all at Androscoggin Lake on the 14th!!
