Jerry Bond and Drew Lynch win a brand new Ranger RT 188 with 90hp Mercury outboard.

The Ranger Aluminum Cup was held on Kentucky Lake on April 29th and 30th. 186 teams took to Kentucky Lake to try to win the Ranger RT 188 with 90hp Mercury outboard and other cash prizes.

Winning it all was Jerry Bond and Drew Lynch who had a two day total of 37.43lbs, 19.57 on the first and 18.86 on the second day. They had two good days and caught fish during all parts all of the day and mostly focused on deep water.  This is their home lake as they hail from Paducah, KY and fish here often.  "We caught some on reaction baits and some on the bottom.  It was really a struggle all day to get bites and we would get one here and one there," said Bond.

Second place was Chad Porter and Matt Bryan with 36.24lbs for the two day event.  Thety focused on transition areas and targeted both pre-spawn and post-spawn bass that were returning or going to the shallows. "We caught most on Carolina-rigs with creature baits, but also caught some on cranks and jigs," said Porter.  They want to thank TackleExperts.com, Denali Rods, 13 Fishing Reels and Nitro Boats for their support.  The team took home $5,800 for their finish.
