The next time you are fishing Lake of the Ozarks, Robin's Resort will be there waiting for you. They are also the host location for the Robin's Resort Lake of the Ozarks Regional this September 23rd and 24th. That event will pay a guaranteed $2,000 to the winners.
Robin's Resort is used to accommodating tournaments and fishermen and the size has ample parking and boat slips on their dock. The site hosts tournaments throughout the year and is a popular location are close to major tournament launch sites. One thing that separates them is that they hire security to patrol the night of tournaments to keep your boat and truck secure and allow you to sleep without worrying about your gear being stolen. "We don't just turn our maintenance guy into the security guard, these are certified or bonded off-duty police or real security guards," says manager Bill Morgan.
They have several options for those looking to spend the night at Robin's Resort. Everything from small units to three bedroom condos are available to rent. "The condos are heated, feature an open floor plan and have a screened porch overlooking the water. They are very popular for anglers who want to bring their wife and kids along while they are fishing the tournament," adds Morgan.
Rates vary based on the size of lodging you prefer, but they run a Winter Blues special on their condos from November 1st to April 1st with the cost just $99 per night. This rate does not apply to tournaments as rates differ to include the costs for security guards.
