Solar Bat designed this frame style to meet the needs of those water-sport enthusiasts who require a frame that FLOATS.  The FL1 is Solar Bat’s first floating sunglass and we added chartreuse accents on the temples so it can be easily spotted floating in the water.  The FL1 is an ideal sunglass for kayaking, canoeing, and all water sports.  Comes with an adjustable and removable elastic strap.

Fit Guide – average to large head with narrow to average bridge

  1. AMBER:  16% light transmission excellent tint for flat light and highlighting anything with a brown hue. 
  2.  GRAY: 14% light transmission and neutral filtration causing all colors to remain true. 
  3.  MOSSBACK® GREEN:  15% light transmission and highlighting anything with a green hue while bleaching out browns. 
  4.  MOSSBACK® GRADIENT:  15%-29% light transmission with Mossback in the top 55% and Hi Contrast Yellow in the bottom 45%
  5.  MOSSBACK® INVERTED GRADIENT :  29% to 15% light transmission with Hi Contrast Yellow in the top 20% of the lens and Mossback in the bottom 80%
  6.  AMBER BLUE / GREEN MIRROR:   All the properties of the amber tints with a light transmission is 11%.
  7.  GRAY ICE BLUE MIRROR:  All the properties of the gray lens with a light transmission of 9%.
  8.  HI CON YELLOW: Combination 29% light transmission for low light levels and great for spotting objects in tannic water
