Uncle Sam Bass Caught!

Sep 29, 2015
Brandon Davis and John Bagby hit the Uncle Sam Bass weight of 4.16 to win an extra $1,100 at the Renegade/Prowler Regional.

John Bagby and teammate Brandon Davis came to the weighin upset that they had just lost a big bass on the crankbait. Little did they know, they had a big money fish in their livewell that would not have happened if they had caught the big one earlier. "We lost a really nice one and if we would have caught it, we would have never weighed the 4.16lb fish and would have never won the Uncle Sam Bass," said Bagby. The lost fish didn't hurt them and their prize was bigger than if they had moved up from the 8th place finish they had and the team was happy to win the Uncle Sam Bass money.

The Uncle Sam Bass was caught by Brandon Davis on a spinnerbait and was worth $1,100 for the team. Unfortunately, they missed out on an additional $1100.00 if they would have purchased product from our web site or another additional $1000.00 for having a Garmin depth finder mounted on their boat.

"If I would have known, we would have definitely went to the website to order something so we didn't miss out on extra money," said Bagby.

The value for next weekend's Uncle Sam Bass will go to $500.00 if a team catches it. An additional $1200.00 will be added if they purchased product from the web site within the last 90 days and an additional $1000.00 if they have a Garmin depthfinder mounted to their boat.

Congrats to Brandon Davis and John Bagby!
