USA Bassin 2010 Season Starting Soon With Updated Rules

The 2009 season is coming to a close, so when does the 2010 season start?

Fall divisions starting September 2009 will begin the 2010 season. With the start of the new season, you will need to renew your membership. The first fall division starts as soon as September 5, 2009.

This year fall divisions have expanded again offering more tournaments in more states. Divisions can be found in IL, IN, KY, TN, VA, and WV.

Memberships are still a low $25 per person (Free for anyone under the age of 18 before August 31, 2010), Entry Fees $50/$25 depending on type of division fished, and optional $10 Big Bass Pot per tournament.

New for this season:

No longer will Divisional Champions and Regional Champions receive a free entry into a Regional or Classic tournament. Money coming to USA BASSIN from the entry fees of Divisional Champions that fish a Regional will be escrowed to the National Points Champions Fund. We normally give out a $1000.00 bonus to the National Points Champions, but this could be double the bonus or more! The bonus money depends on the number of Divisional Champions that fish in a Regional event in 2010.

The "Open Division" will no longer have an Open Division Champion. The Open Division will only be used to gain needed points to qualify for a Regional event. There is no change to receiving a free membership by scoring 1500 or more points in the Open Division. Currently, six teams will receive a free membership this year good for the 2010 season!

Youth under the age of 18 before August 31, 2010 receive a free U.S.A. BASSIN Membership. Only change here is, we added a date for eligibility.

Fall 2010 tournaments that start before September 21, 2009 will not have results displayed until after this date. This is due to our www.USABassin.com website making the changeover from the 2009 season to the new 2010 season.
