Team Qualifies for Next Generation Classic

Team Qualifies for Next Generation Classic

Saturday, January 02, 2010

“Team Hawg Wild” Justin Shirley and his 10 year old soon to be 11 grandson Dylan Allman are having fun fishing with USA Bassin and have been successful.  They are the first team to qualify for the inaugural Next Generation Classic to be held at Douglas Lake on June 11 and 12, 2011.  Justin and Dylan qualified this past fall when the 2010 season started by getting a Next Generation membership and fishing several regular National Team Trail events on different lakes in Indiana.  They are taking advantage of the opportunity of having a membership in both trails and even fished the Regional tournament this past fall at Patoka Lake.

Dylan really likes fishing for the chance to win some money and thought it was cool to see 140 plus boats in a tournament.  I encourage all to visit www.usabassin.com and read up on the rules for both trails.  Here are a few things Dylan has to say and this is what it is all about.  “I like fishing with my papaw at different lakes in the area.  I have met a lot of nice people fishing with USA Bassin, like Gary Earl.  I would like to be a professional fisherman when I grow up”.  I can only imagine how Justin feels.  It doesn’t get much better than that.
