What an awesome event! Our Co-Ed Classic teams definately saw the two personalities of Raccoon Lake in western Indiana. Following a night of very intense storms, Day One dawned as a great fishing day with overcast sky, variable winds, and slightly dirty water... and the bass cooperated accordingly with nearly every team bringing keeper bass to the scales. As most experienced bass anglers are aware, however, the second day after a major front can be problematic and Day Two was no different. The challenging conditions were met head on by our winners, Tanner Martin and Jessica (Jesse) Hauger who brought a five bass limit to the scales each day to secure the win. After a jumble in the standings, Mike & Judi Foster climbed the ladder and pulled off a second place finish anchored by the tournament's Big Bass. Rounding out the Top Three was the team of Johnny and Amie Tolliver. Congratulations everyone!
Lisa & I would like to thank our title sponsor, Brownies Marine of Fairland, IN, as well as the Indiana Co-Ed Division Directors Brian & Jenny Sharp for their gracious support of this event.
Plans are already underway to make 2027 even bigger and better! Stay tuned!
God Bless,
Lisa & Chip Ayers

As I am sure everyone is aware, there is a strong possibility of intense/severe weather events forecast for the western portion of Indiana including Raccoon Lake on Wednesday afternoon and evening.
After careful consideration, and gathering as much information as possible from multiple weather sources, we have decided to make some adjustments to the schedule for the CoEd Classic at Raccoon Reservoir this coming Thursday and Friday, June 18th & 19th.
To begin, there will be NO pre-tournament meeting on Wednesday, June 17th.
Again, NO pre-tournament meeting on Wednesday.
We will hold the pre-tournament meeting prior to the start of Day One, Thursday June 18th.
The tournament hours for this Classic will be 6:30am-2:30pm on both Thursday and Friday.
THE PRE-TOURNAMENT MEETING WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 5:45 AM ON THURSDAY JUNE 18th.
We will begin check in at 5:00AM at the ramp.
Once the meeting has concluded, we will get everyone on the water and start the tournament as soon as legal sunrise allows.
We would ask each team to please arrive early enough to check in with Lisa prior to the start of the mandatory meeting at 5:45AM.
We understand this is a diversion from our normal process and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however everyone's safety is our utmost priority.
While we are aware most folks enjoy the camaraderie and fellowship of the night-before meetings, requiring everyone to travel in the potentially intense storms is not prudent.
Please feel free to reach out should you have any questions.
Lisa and I are looking forward to seeing everyone on Thursday.
Safe travels and please stay weather aware.
God Bless,
Chip & Lisa Ayers
