Directors Classic Tournament: 

Important Points to Remember!!!

• Qualification:
  • All current USA BASSIN Directors in good standing are welcome to participate in Directors Classic.
  • Licensed Guides currently guiding on Geist Reservoir are not eligible to participate in the Directors Classic.
  • Any angler(s) that wins this event three (3) times will not be eligible to participate in any future Directors Classic.
• Dates:
  • The Geist Reservoir will be open to pre-fishing.
  • Official Practice will open starting August 17th, 2026.
    • During the Official Practice, teams not may employ a guide or communicate with anyone not competing in the Director’s Classic to gain an advantage over the rest of the field.
  • Registration & Pretournament Meeting: Saturday, August 29th, 2026.
  • Tournament Day: Sunday, August 30, 2026
• Registration & Pretournament Meeting:
  • Registration for this event will be located at the Olio Road Ramp Facility, 10999 Olio Road, Fishers, IN 46037 starting at 5:00pm (Eastern) Saturday, August 29th, 2026, with the pretournament meeting to follow at 6:00pm (Eastern). One member of each team must be present at the pre-tournament meeting, or that team will be disqualified. Teams may use a proxy if they are unable to attend the Registration/Meeting. There will not be a proxy fee for this event.
• Entering the Event:
  • The entry fee for this event is $150.00.
  • All mailed-in entries must be post marked by August 15, 2026.
  • USA BASSIN will accept a VISA or Master Card payment until August 27, 2026 (There will be a 7% Service Fee for paying with a credit card)
  • Entries (CASH ONLY with $10 late fee) will be accepted during registration prior to the beginning of the official meeting for this event.
  • This event is limited to seventy (70) teams.
  • Boat numbers will be assigned based upon date entry is received.
• Refunds: 
  • If the Director is contacted no later than close of business, August 24th, 2026, USA BASSIN will refund $120.00 of the entry fee.
  • After August 24, 2026, no refunds will be issued.
  • To receive your refund, please e-mail your mailing address along with the name of the event to: customerservice@usabassin.com.
• Weather Delays and Cancelations:
  • Small Watercraft Wind Advisory: If the wind is projected to be 18mph (based on The Weather Channel App) at any time during the tournament hours the director MAY cancel that day of the tournament.
  • In the event of extreme weather conditions such as tornados, severe weather warnings, or lightning, the tournament director may put the tournament on hold until all warnings expire, or the storms have passed. Then and only then will we proceed with the tournament.
  • Should the tournament be delayed due to the weather and we decide to launch, the check-in times will stand as posted.
  • If the storms or warnings have not passed or expired prior to 10:00am, the director and staff may make the decision to cancel that day of fishing.
  • If the Director’s Classic is cancelled, then USA BASSIN will refund $120.00 of the entry fee.
