DECEMBER 21, 2023,
The much anticipated 2024 USABASSIN CO-ED series as been released! Jenny and I are super excited for the upcoming season and look forward to seeing you on the water in 2024.
I do want to say up front that the May 11 tournament on Lake Lemon is conditional pon us getting drawn for Lake Lemon. Please note that the May 11 date will stand as the tournament date even if we do not get drawn. If we dont get drawn, we will move the tournamnet to a back up location.... the drawing is Jan. 1 so everyone should know in plenty of time ( We wanted to at least put a place holder on your calendar for May 11 for a USABASSIN CO-ED tournament).
The much anticipated USABASSIN CO-ED BBQ / WIFFLEBALL / KICKBALL event will be held on Friday, June 21 at our house the night before the Prairie Creek tournament.
Finally, we want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

The Raccoon Lake derby is in the books and I think everyone will agree it was a TOUGH bite for those 16" fish!
TEAM MAXWELL pulled out the win with followed up in 2nd by TEAM VOSS and TEAM MOBLEY rounding out the top 3 spots. All the teams reported catching several healthy fish between 14-15 inches but those 16" fish were not wanting to play.
Thanks to all the teams that fished and stuck around to see the stingy weigh in and we hope all of you join us at the last event of the season at Prairie Creek on July 8!
We are limited on boats for the Prairie Creek derby as well so if you have not entered as of yet please do so via PayPal ( jennystull@yahoo.com) and come join us!
**** The year end USABASSIN CO-ED Series cook out will be at our place on Friday, Julyl 7 with dinner at 630PM. If you want to attend please let us know so we can plan accordingly. As well we have room for several teams to stay at the house on Friday night if you choose... plenty of parking, and we can make sleeping arrangements in the house, barn or bring your tent or camper!
See you all in July!

JUNE 14. 2023
CONGRATS to our Brookville Lake tournament winners TEAM TOLLIVER! They brought a bag of Brookville largemouth to the scale that weighed in at 9.94lbs to take the win. The young guns followed up in 2nd and 3rd with TEAM MARTIN/ HAUGER in 2nd and TEAM LOWER/EGIESKE taking 3rd.
The season points chase is pretty tight with less than 10 points seperating 1st thru 3rd as we head into Raccoon Lake this Saturday, June 17. Last year Raccoon showed out pretty well and it took over 17 lbs to take the win! Lets all hope the fish cooperate and we have another great derby on Raccoon this year.
As alwaysJenny and I will be camping and if your intersted in grilling out on Friday night please let us know and we can prepare enough burgers and dogs at the campsite.
We are limited to 15 boats for this tournament and we only have a few spots left open. If you want you can send your entry fee via PAYPAL to us ( send to Jennystull @yahoo.com).

The first derby of the year is in the books and Lake Shafer was a bit stingy with only 13 total bass being brought to the scales last Saturday. Expectations were high as the crazy Indiana weather was showing off with sunny skies an temperaturs in the seventies leading in to the tournament but the overall bite was very tough!
Team Mobley took the win with 3 fish weighing in at 6.05... not sure but I am guessing a slow moving jig was in the hands of Team Mobley most of the day.
2nd Place and BIG BASS went to Team Roberts weighing in 1 Shafer Stud largemouth at 6.02 This was Team Roberts first CO-ED tournament with us and they are setting the bar high for overall big fish of the year.
3rd Place went to Team Teeters as he turned his rough start to the day ( blown tire on 65 headed to the ramp) into a good day with 3 keepers ... I think Ranger Nick found some spawers but they just wouldn't fully commit.
Overall we had a great turnout with 14 boats. We were excited to see some new teams come out and mix it up with our group of regular teams that have fished with us in the past.
Special Thanks to Ancient Element for sponsoring the Lake Shafer tournament and North Mechanical Services for sponsoring Big Bass.
Big shout out to our title sponsor for 2023... Honey Creek Tackle and Marshall Mechanical Services. Without them we could not do what we do to build the bet CO-ED tournament series in the state.
The countdown is on to our next one ... Lake Monroe on May 13.
If you have not preregistered please do so by contacting us and sending your entry fee in.
See you on the water!

Good morning we are fast approaching our first derby of the year and it looks like the weather might just be cooperating. If you have not signed up as of yet please do so as we are starting to build a pretty good field for this event.
As a reminder to all:
Participants are elgilbe to fish 1 tournament per season in a solo capacity if the following conditions are met and you have expressed prior approval from the Tourament Director.
1. Participants must have fished at least 3 out of the 5 previous tournements in a team capacity.
2. Paricipants must contact the tournament director at least 24 hours prior to the start of the tournament to request permission to fish solo.
We do this as a courtesy to all teams as we realize being CO-ED this usually means a Dad and Mom fishing together and you never know when parenting duty calls... as we always say FAMILY FIRST.
