The March 1st KY-17 Backwater Lake Cumberland Division event was held on Lake Cumberland. The tournament featured 81 teams, the most ever in a USA BASSIN Divisional Tournament!
Taking first was the team of Jackson Douglas and Brendon Devosher, who brought in a solid limit weighing 17.49lbs. The five fish were the only five they caught all day, but it was enough.
"That was all of the bites we had and we caught them all between 11:00 and 3:00," said Devosher.
The team reported catching all of them shallow with reaction baits and they said the afternoon bite was critical. "We started the day and the water was 46.5 degrees and it warmed all the way up to 50 with the sunshine warming it up," Devosher added.
