Bajío’s New Frame Rigolets

Feb 21, 2024
Rigolets feature wide temples and vented rubber sun-blocking side shields.

Pronounced: RIG-uh-Leez, these are the perfect shades for this upcoming summer whether you’re out for a ride on your beach cruiser or skipping across the water on the boat, you’ll love the fit and feel of our Bajío’s newest frame for 2024, the Rigolets. This tight full wrap offers maximum protection from the wind and sun to prevent fatigue after a long day outside. Designed for small and narrow faces, Rigolets feature wide temples and vented rubber sun-blocking side shields. Plus it’s also available in RX and Readers.

  • Product Description: Just as the strait is small and narrow, Rigo is designed with a small fit for narrow faces (and anglers who love to tackle crazy big things). Complete with vented, sun-blocking side shields and ergo rubber details in all the right places, these full wrap shades also feature our polarized, blue light-blocking lenses with LAPIS™ technology for crisp, clear fish-spotting vision.
  • Behind the Name: Named after a deepwater strait with incredible history just 30 minutes outside of New Orleans, Rigolets means trench in French. The Rigolets supply salt water from the Gulf of Mexico to the expansive Lake Pontchartrain estuary, and along with the seawater comes redfish, speckled trout, largemouth bass, black drum, jack crevalle, sheepshead, and tarpon—creating a veritable fish highway and some of the best fishing in the state. Whether it's a speckled trout breaching the surface for a topwater, a redfish sliding down the bank, or a jumping jack exploding like a bowling ball dropped from the sky, there is never a dull moment here.
