“Massachusetts Regional Sponsors”

In a time when economic default has seem to spook most of our limits……or what some anglers may refer to as making it to the weigh-in with no time to spare! Sponsors for the 2011 October Massachusetts Regional Championship, have willingly stepped up to the scales with record-breaking support!
“It’s certainly understandable, especially under our present economic status for sponsors to renege on their commitments of product support,” says Trish Decoteau, Assistant Tournament Director and sponsor liaison for the Massachusetts Division and Regional Championship. Adding with a bass-eating grin, “However, we have witness the complete opposite from our dedicated and supportive list of sponsors. In fact we have actually attained several new sponsors for our upcoming October Regional Championship!”
One of those newly acquired sponsors is Bizz Baits (www.BizzBaits.com). Owner and lure designer Brian Sousa just happen to combine his passion for bass fishing with his college marketing class project! “What started as a business plan in my college marketing classroom soon developed into a business reality”, recalls Sousa.

Countless hours of research and development on the water, to achieve perfectly balanced soft plastic baits, while achieving a natural forage mimicking action is our ultimate goal,” says Brian Sousa. This may be the reason Sousa’s American Made line of Bizz Baits soft plastics are limited only to those bait designs which have proven bass catching abilities?

Nitro/Tracker Marine dealership USA Marine, Inc in Worcester, MA will host the Massachusetts 2-Day Regional Championship, by opening their doors on Friday October 14th for the Regional Contenders Registration and Tournament Briefing. “We are looking forward to hosting this Championship and to show our appreciation for all of these outstanding USA Bassin qualifying Teams, we are going to have a Massachusetts Regional Contenders Only Discount available to each qualifying Angler,” states Marc Tsourides owner of USA Marine, Inc.
Team Registration is scheduled between 5-6 PM, with an available BBQ, while the USA Marine Parts Department will offer Regional Anglers a 20% discount on parts, oil, batteries, etc. According to Trish Decoteau, “Jim Barry of Barry’s Bait & Tackle will also offer special pricing within his shop, while sonar and trolling motor repair will be available to those who might need it.”
All Regional Contenders will receive Sponsorship discount certificates from USA Marine, Reaction Strike, HatCams, Skinny Bear and Andy’s Custom Bass Lures. Following the Registration and BBQ Cookout will be the Official Tournament Briefing scheduled to start at 6:00 PM. “Presently we are planning on awarding Divisional Championship Awards for both the Massachusetts and Connecticut West Trails during our Tournament briefing,” says Decoteau.
